SRA Corporation – Principal (1992–1994)
Managed technical team for the revision and integration of clinical areas into an enterprise architecture for the Department of Defense Health Affairs. Supported equipment realignment study in military cardiology as a consequence of Base Re-alignment and Closures (BRAC). Provided facilitation, analysis, acquisition support, technology evaluation, and strategic planning in the cardiology functional areas for the Army, Navy and Air Force medical corps.
Orkand Corporation – Principal (1990–1992)
Project Manager for a multi-million dollar onsite contract for business process re-engineering, systems capacity planning, and corporate software systems modernization efforts at the US Agency for International Development Information Resource Management (IRM) office.
American Management Systems (AMS) Inc. – Principal (1975–1979)
Provided management and technical direction to the technical support function of a major computer processing data center in Arlington, Virginia. In this capacity, developed, staffed and managed a help desk support function, an onsite customer assistance and training center, management and control of corporate application systems during yearly modernizations and migrations, including integration of security features, benchmarking, and coordination with IBM corporation to ensure compatibility of new system releases. Developed, managed and enhanced computer resource billing for internal and external customers. Published a monthly technical newsletter for corporate customers.
