Neighborhood Block Picnic, 4-8 pm
South 7th St btn Oakland/Quincy Come celebrate our wonderful neighborhood! The Alcova Heights Citizens Association will provide burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, chips, soft drinks, moon bounce, live band and face painting. Please bring a side dish to share (Last names A-M - please bring a side dish/salad; N-Z - please bring a dessert). This is a great chance to meet other Alcova Heights residents and have a good time. Bring your own beer/wine. If there's rain, we'll move inside the Baptist Church (but please, no alcohol at the church).

If you have anything you would like to see in the September 10 issue, please email the editors your articles, photos, ads, etc. Suggestions for articles on an interesting topic you would like us to cover are always considered.

All are invited to come and meet your neighbors while we discuss community issues. Bring a potluck dish and mingle at 6:30 pm. Arlington Baptist, Monroe + South 8th Sts (enter through parking lot entrance).
