  • Neighborhood Block Picnic

    The Alcova Heights Citizens Association will provide burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, lemonade and ice tea. Please bring a side dish to share. There will be games for the kids, sack races, and face painting. Kids: Bring your bikes, trikes, and scooters. Volleyball and horseshoes for the grown-ups. This is a great chance to meet other Alcova Heights residents and have a good time. Rumor has it some of Alcova's "famous" musicians may perform. Bring a folding chair as the S. Lincoln St folks may not have enough. Volunteers needed to help set-up and clean-up. This is our first Neighborhood Block Picnic. Let's make it a good one. Rain Date Plans To Be Announced.

  • Free Residential Electronics Recycling Event

    PC Recycler offers these opportunities for the individual consumer to recycle old computers, peripherals and home entertainment equipment on the second Friday (9-5) and Saturday (10-2) of every month at 4005 Westfax Drive, Chantilly, VA. Residents can also bring their sensitive papers for shredding and recycling. For more details, visit pcrecycler.net.
