AQUAS developed and managed a web-enabled system for grant proposal submission and evaluation for NIST. The project included analysis of the legacy system, documentation of the existing database tables, redesign and validation of the logical database schema, re-engineering of the data base structure to take advantage of newer technologies, identification of processes that are redundant or no longer needed, and design of a user friendly navigation process. AQUAS converted the Paradox/Object PAL legacy system to an Oracle-based application with a web-enabled front end using ColdFusion and JavaScript. AQUAS also designed a data migration plan, and a parallel operation process to validate data integrity and assist in testing the new system's fidelity to the requirements.
