Getting and Growing Federal Government Business
What's involved:
In this "fast track" seminar, you will learn the six easy steps to help you meet your objectives:
- Put together the right tools and teams
- Discover and identify the business opportunity
- Get to know the right contacts
- Sell your product or service effectively
- Respond to bids and proposals
- Get recognition for the good work you do
Real business experiences, tricks of the trade, and specific leads and proposals will be discussed. Every week, guest speakers will visit and share their own perspective in business development. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific issues during informal meetings following each seminar with business owners and business development professionals.
About the instructor:
Carmen Larsen has over 20 years of successful experience working with the Federal Government. She develops and prepares proposals, delivers presentations, and manages contractor teams that provide services to the Federal Government. She has assisted companies & mdash; in technical services, information technology, market research, training, conference planning, janitorial, office supplies, and construction industries — in finding opportunities, delivering presentations, obtaining recognition, and bidding on government proposals.

You may register for an entire series or for individual classes. Pre-registration and full series offer the best values.
6-class Series: $2400
Individual Class: $450 pre-registered by Monday;
$500 walk-in registration.
Schedule:
Each session is six classes of four hours each. Each class includes real case stories, and weekday courses are followed by an optional hour
working lunch for discussion (bring your own cases to discuss).
Series A: Alternate Wednesdays, 8 am-Noon
